I grew up hunting bobwhite quail and rabbits with my Dad and Grandfather in the bottoms and hills along the Gasconade River. Our Son and Daughter both grew up hunting and fishing and our grandchildren are following in their footsteps. We enjoy hunting Deer and Turkey, and I was fortunate to serve as a turkey hunting guide for a national camouflage company, calling longbeards to the gun of such notables as Jay Langston of the National Wild Turkey Federation and Aaron Fraser Pass who was the editor of Outdoor Life magazine for over ten years, among others. All the fond memories of hunts past provide a great appreciation of the outdoors and what it means to have a place in which to hunt and fish.
