Property Description

This is the equestrian dream ranch you have been waiting for, quiet and nestled between thousands of acres of Mark Twain National Forest is your forever home and acreage. Driving down the winding lane that leads to your first glimpse of the European Country home, you will see the place you have always dreamed about. Fifty two acres of which about half is in permanent pasture, fenced and cross fenced with a corral for the horses. Adjoining Mark Twain National Forest provides 40 miles of horse or ATV trails.  Deer and turkey hunting couldn’t be more convenient as base camp will be your European Country home. Smallmouth bass fishing in the Gasconade river is little over one mile away.

The home provides 4200 square feet of living space with a two car garage (9 foot walls), a full finished basement (9foot walls) that includes a full bath, breakfast nook, potential fourth bedroom, and a large TV/play room for the kids. A game room and wet bar will provide endless entertainment, and the walkout basement opens to a 26 x 36 concrete patio and custom rock fireplace for those cool fall and early spring evenings. A wrap around deck provides access to the above ground pool or hot tub depending on your inclination. If you like to entertain, this home will not disappoint.

Entering the 1.5 story home through the mahogany front door you are greeted to an open floor plan where the cathedral ceiling living room merges with the kitchen to create the ultimate country splendor. Your new master bedroom is just off the living area and the staircase leads to the upper level where you find two bedrooms and a full bath, a large recreation room or you might want to create a fourth bedroom. One of the upstairs bedrooms could be your office. The possibilities are endless.

The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances to include a gas range and oven. A 220 volt outlet is available for those who prefer electric. Beautiful custom red oak cabinets and granite countertops, copper range hood and a twelve island complete with horse accent tile inlays complete the kitchen area. Your breakfast nook overlooks the outdoor fireplace and provides each mornings’ sunrise view of the pasture and woodlands.

Equestrians will find hundreds of miles of trails to explore, including the Cedar Ridge Horse Camp located about five miles down State Hwy 17 which offers fifty miles of trails and ties into Cedar Ridge trails adding another twenty five miles. There you will find a primitive horse camp and parking at Roby Lake for day rides.

Panther Creek horse camp near Iberia, Missouri is less than an hour away. Other locations include the Lead Mine Conservation Area, Falling Water, Cowboy Up, Caney Mountain and Shelton’s Big Flat Horse Camps in Arkansas are only four hours away.

The upper hay field produces 30 – 35 round bales of hay at present. A soil test to provide the missing nutrients and follow up application of those nutrients would greatly improve the hay production.
